Jonathon Sanborn graduated with honors from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law where he also served as the Production Editor of the South Dakota Law Review, Volume 60.  Following graduation, Jonathon accepted a position with the South Dakota Division of Banking as a Trust Examiner.  During his time as an Examiner, he participated in and led numerous examinations, including trust companies offering crypto asset products and services.  In his current position as Senior Trust Analyst, he oversees applications for trust charter, performs special monitoring efforts, assists drafting guidance, and remains a resource for Division staff on crypto assets.  Jonathon also speaks annually at the Knudson School of Law on the topic of crypto asset regulation.
